Sarah Willans is Poetry Editor of Writers' Forum magazine, and (as Sarah Lawson) the author of four books published in the UK by Sheldon Press. Her work has been translated for publication in eight languages. She has tutored for the UK's largest creative writing correspondence course, and currently runs writing courses and workshops as a freelance facilitator. She is Literature Coordinator at the Plough Arts Centre in North Devon, where she is responsible for the annual poetry competition, The Plough Prize, organises regular open mike poetry sessions and leads creative writing workshops. Sarah's work has appeared in publications ranging from specialist and trade magazines to The Guardian newspaper. She is a member of the National Union of Journalists, the Society of Authors and the National Association of Writers in Education. Through her critiques, courses and workshops, Sarah aims to help writers develop the skills and confidence they need to produce the best work of which they are capable. 11/02/09 PLEASE NOTE: Sarah is unable to take on any new clients for the time being.
